Annapurna Base Camp Trek Itinerary
Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the world’s most classic treks, offering breathtaking mountain views and opportunities to experience traditional Nepali village life in the Himalayas. The route passes through spectacular and tranquil landscapes, charming Gurung and Magar villages, and lush forests filled with rhododendrons, bamboo, and alpine vegetation before reaching its final destination—Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m (13,546ft).
Day 1: Pokhara to Chomrong
A 3-hour drive from Pokhara takes us to Matkyu—the starting point of our trek. We’ll trek for 30-45 minutes to Jhinu, where we’ll have lunch. Then we’ll continue to the beautiful village of Chomrong, our final destination for the day (1-2 hours).
